U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) has issued a reminder that it will only accept the 04/01/24 edition of certain forms, including Form I-129 and Form I-140 for any submissions postmarked on or after April 1, 2024. It is important to note that any submissions postmarked on or after April 1, 2024, using the previous versions of these forms will be rejected.

USCIS has confirmed that with the new fee rule that goes into effect April 1, 2024, applicants and petitioners must use the new 04/01/24 editions of certain forms, including the following:
While USCIS generally provides a grace period when publishing new forms, the 04/01/24 edition of these forms include changes necessary to administer new fees as listed on the USCIS Fee Schedule G-1055.
What this means
Applicants and petitioners must use the 04/01/24 edition of Form I-129 and Form I-140 and adhere to the new fees specified in the USCIS Fee Schedule G-1055 for all submissions postmarked on or after April 1, 2024 as submissions using the previous versions will be rejected, given that no grace period has been provided.
