Twelve months after launch, Vialto celebrates significant growth and client retention

London—April 29, 2023—Vialto Partners, a leading provider of globally integrated solutions supporting global workforce mobility, is today celebrating the first anniversary of its launch as an independent company. Vialto had previously operated for 50 years inside the PwC network as the Global Mobility Services business unit, and was sold to funds affiliated with Clayton, Dubilier & Rice (CD&R) effective April 29, 2022.

“One year ago, our team embarked on an ambitious journey to build an independent, globally integrated firm that aims to transform how workforce mobility services are delivered,” said Peter Clarke, CEO of Vialto. “Twelve months on, we’re all incredibly proud of the success we’ve achieved. We’ve hired 2,000 new colleagues, and 30 new partners have been promoted, hired, or will soon join Vialto. We’ve retained nearly 100 percent of our clients, and have won significant new engagements at marquee organizations around the world.”

Clarke added, “As we enter our second year as an independent firm, I’m even more convinced that we’re on the right path. Clients and Vialto professionals around the world have confirmed that our unique business model is making a positive difference. As a globally integrated firm, we’re simpler to work with and more agile. It’s easier for our people to collaborate. And we’re better able to bring diverse perspectives and powerful solutions to the challenges our clients face in operating global workforces.

“Successful organizations recognize that enabling global employee mobility can help drive business strategy, develop high-performing employees, and deliver access to new talent pools,” Clarke observed. “We help them do that effectively by putting the mobile worker at the center of everything we do. With every touchpoint—for our clients and their employees—we strive to deliver a positive experience.”

Key accomplishments in year one
Vialto has realized a number of key achievements in its first year of existence:

  • The company now operates in more than 50 countries, adding nine new territories since launch: Bulgaria, Chile, Colombia, Greece, Kenya, Nigeria, Taiwan, and soon to be in New Zealand and Slovakia.
  • Affiliations with new law firms in the United States and Austria to enable a full suite of immigration services.
  • A client advisory board was designed to provide ongoing client feedback and a market perspective on global mobility challenges.
  • The company announced new alliances with leading solution providers in mobility technology, cost estimation, human performance analytics, shadow payroll, and assessment and training.
  • A new technology platform—Vialto Navigator— was launched to provide a complete tax preparation service to individuals who have worked with Vialto in the past as part of their employer’s mobility program.
  • Vialto and several of its professionals were recognized with industry awards, including innovator of the year from Talent Beyond Boundaries; EMMA awards from the EMEA chapter of the Federation of Expatriate Management for partnership of the year, tax provider of the year, and global mobility rising star; and several individuals who were recognized by The Employee Mobility Institute, Benivo, and Citywealth.
  • The company held In-person and virtual events in the United States, EMEA, and Asia-Pacific—including the inaugural Spark Growth event in Las Vegas. These brought together hundreds of clients and Vialto professionals to share ideas on the latest trends and opportunities facing global mobility teams.
  • Vialto released several insightful research reports, including its New Work Journey survey series, and a report on the environmental, sustainability, and governance impacts of global mobility.
  • As part of its commitment to continuous professional development, the company held a virtual learning and development conference that was attended by nearly 6,000 employees from around the world.
  • Inclusion networks were established for female, LGBTQ2+, Black, Latinx, East Asian, employees with disabilities, and South Asian employees.

“We’re excited by the progress Vialto has made in its first year, but we’re even more excited about the future potential of the company as it continues this journey as an independent firm,” said Russ Fradin, Operating Partner of CD&R and Chairman of Vialto. “As the world continues to become smaller and the global fight for top-performing talent carries on, we’re confident that more and more multinational organizations will turn to Vialto to help them navigate the future of global workforce management.”
