On 9 October 2025 Thailand’s Ministry of Labour announced that effective 13 October 2025, all employers in Thailand and their expatriate employees will be required to use a new digital platform, “e-Work Permit,” for registration and all work permit applications.
Current Status
Due to technical issues, unfortunately the e-Work Permit platform is not yet fully operational. As of 17 October 2025, the Ministry of Labour (MOL) has acknowledged these issues and is reviewing user feedback to issue further guidelines.
