Thailand | e-Work Permit processing update

Summary

Further to our recent alert regarding the new e-Work permit system, the Thai authorities have now provided the following processing update.

The detail

With effect from 11 December 2025 and until further notice, the Thailand Investment and Expat Services Center (TIESC Center) will accept work permit applications as follows:

  1. Submission of a hard-copy set of the work permit application (as usual). There is no requirement to attach an evidence of unsuccessful e-work permit submission notification as was previously required.
  2. Submission through the e-work permit system.
