On Wednesday 2nd November, 2022 the winner of this year’s Global Mobility Rising Star of the Year award was announced at a glamorous black-tie dinner and ceremony at the Royal Lancaster Hotel in London.

The FEM EMMAs are the premier awards for the global mobility and International HR industry and on Thursday night, following a highly successful three-day online Summit, key figures, leaders and companies gathered online to celebrate the brightest and best in the EMEA region.

Claire Tennant-Scull, Global Director of Content & Events at FEM said:

“The FEM EMMAs remain the gold standard awards for the global mobility and international HR industry. They are the only truly global, yet region-specific awards with the greatest breadth of categories for both corporate professionals and service providers.”

“It’s so good to be back in-person to celebrate all the achievements and hard-work of the teams, individuals and suppliers in this amazing industry. The FEM EMMAs remain the gold standard awards for global mobility and international HR. They are the only truly global, yet region-specific awards with the greatest breadth of categories for both corporate professionals and service providers.”

“The judges and I have been so impressed to see the quality of work undertaken by individuals, teams and organizations in the midst of so many challenging circumstances. It is a demonstration of how resourceful and resilient the people who work in this industry can be, and I think everyone who took part should feel very proud of what they have achieved.”

“EMMAs entries are always rigorously judged by a team of fiercely impartial, highly experienced, senior figures in the industry, who are drawn from a range of disciplines across the EMEA region and who give up their own free time to carry out a very thorough and demanding process. So these awards carry tremendous kudos. It’s so important to receive recognition among your peers for innovation and hard work and so I think the winners and all those on the shortlist should feel extremely proud.”

“This year, alongside the well-established EMMAs entrants, we have received submissions from individuals and companies who have never taken part in the EMMAs before, so it’s invigorating to have so many new faces at the awards and to see how the industry is developing and bringing on new talent. I think the results were very interesting and we were so pleased to receive such good feedback on many of the entries from the judges.”

This year the FEM EMMAs, saw entries across 20 categories, and the independent judging panel made up of 53 industry experts who remarked on the high standard of the entries.

Judged against a strict set of criteria, the competition for this award was fierce.

The judges commented on Victoria’s entry:

“Victoria Rodman has brought a people centred approach to her work in tax and demonstrated an outstanding social contribution too. Working and volunteering in the NHS during the pandemic shows how much she wants to help others. She clearly is a star and has made her mark in a short space of time. What an inspiration!”

FEM is very grateful to our esteemed panel of judges for all their hard work and careful consideration of every entry.

Next year’s EMEA Summit & EMMAs entries will be open from Spring 2023. We look forward to receiving submissions and celebrating together again in London on 31st October & 1st November 2023. (ENDS)
