United Kingdom | Vialto Partners UK Gender Pay Gap report for 2023

April 2, 2024

Summary

Following our launch as an independent entity after being acquired by Clayton Dubilier & Rice (CD&R), Vialto Partners is pleased to present our inaugural UK Gender Pay Gap Report for 2023.

Embracing Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) as fundamental tenets of our organization, we align these principles with our core values and global operations. This year marks a significant milestone as we report our UK Gender Pay Gap for the first time, fully complying with the reporting requirements and including Partners who are integral members of our team. The data presented encompasses our Client Services and Functional employees in the UK.

Gender pay gap:
Hourly PayBonus Pay
Mean14.8%22.7%
Median-3.1%20.9%
Percentage receiving bonus

Our median hourly rate does not show a pay gap for women, however our mean hourly rate and both averages for bonus pay show a gender pay gap. This gap is largely driven by pay differences at the highest senior job levels, and in particular due to a higher number of male Partners with global or regional leadership roles in this reporting period.

The Gender Pay Gap is different from equal pay, and we believe that these pay gaps do not represent pay inequity between men and women. We are fully committed to ensuring that men and women are paid the same for work of equal value.

We take pride in the gender diversity within our UK team, boasting a composition of 56% women to 44% men. This diversity extends to the highest levels of our leadership, where we achieve a near balance with 47% of our senior partners being women and 53% men.

Proportion of men and women in each quartile band:

Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) are foundational principles at Vialto Partners and we will continue to focus on ensuring we can attract, retain, and progress diverse talent, not only in relation to gender, but also other types of diversity.
