Online Appointment System
Summary
As of 17 September 2024, the National Immigration Institute (INM) has resumed the modality of granting online appointments to submit any type of immigration process before the immigration authority.
The detail
From 17 September 2024, Vialto will be able to obtain appointments to submit immigration processes for its clients through an online portal which will be available on a weekly basis.
The online appointment system will reduce the time that foreign nationals need to wait in line for services at the INM. However, appointment backlogs may be possible during the initial stages of re-implementation of the system due to high demand.
Vialto will constantly monitor the implications of lack of appointments and will work closely with all its clients to avoid any setbacks with ongoing and upcoming processes.
Actions
● Once an appointment is scheduled in the immigration system it is not possible to change the date or time, therefore we appreciate considering the above in order to avoid additional delays on the processes.
● Vialto takes all cases with the urgency and priority they require and will always look for the closest options to avoid any additional setback or impact on the employee’s status in Mexico.
