The Mexican government, through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (SRE), announced the reinstatement of the electronic visa (e-Visa) system for Brazilian nationals who wish to enter the country as visitors.
In August 2022, Mexico established a consular visa requirement for Brazilian citizens, eliminating the Electronic Authorization System that previously facilitated their entry into the country.
With the aim of facilitating tourism and business travel, the Mexican government decided to reinstate the electronic mechanism, once again allowing online immigration authorization applications.
The reactivation of this system seeks to facilitate the mobility of Brazilian tourists and business travelers, while maintaining immigration controls through a digital process prior to travel.

The process consists of completing an electronic form, providing passport information, and obtaining a digital authorization that must be presented to the airline and immigration authorities upon entering Mexico.

El Gobierno de México, a través de la Secretaría de Relaciones Exteriores (SRE), anunció el restablecimiento del sistema de visa electrónica (e-Visa) para nacionales de Brasil que deseen ingresar al país como visitantes.
En agosto de 2022, México estableció el requisito de visa consular para ciudadanos brasileños, eliminando el Sistema de Autorización Electrónica que anteriormente facilitaba su ingreso al país.
Con el objetivo de facilitar los viajes de turismo y negocios, el Gobierno mexicano decidió restablecer el mecanismo electrónico, permitiendo nuevamente la solicitud de autorización migratoria en línea.
La reactivación de este sistema busca facilitar la movilidad de turistas y viajeros de negocios brasileños, al tiempo que mantiene controles migratorios mediante un proceso digital previo al viaje.

El trámite consiste en completar un formulario electrónico, proporcionar información del pasaporte y obtener una autorización digital que deberá presentarse a la aerolínea y a las autoridades migratorias al ingresar a México.
