The Neo Nomad Visa (category B12-1) was introduced in Kazakhstan at the end of 2024.
The Neo Nomad Visa is available for foreign nationals who plan to stay in Kazakhstan while working for their foreign employers.
Foreign nationals can apply for the visa at the Kazakhstan Embassy or Consulate in their home country directly, while providing the following documents:
* Nationals of 48 countries are exempted from obtaining an invitation letter. List can be provided upon request.
The Neo Nomad Visa can be issued for the duration of one year with possible in-country extension. Dependents are also eligible to obtain Neo a Nomad Visa upon provision of official documents confirming relationships: a Marriage Certificate for a spouse and Birth Certificates for kids.
The Neo Nomad Visa offers significant advantages for companies and allows them to expand their talent pool to a global workforce and enhance workforce flexibility. The Neo Nomad visa process concerns a straightforward application procedure and individuals can apply themselves directly from the respective diplomatic missions in their country of residency.
